PIETER DE VOS

Pieter de Vos studied English and Political Philosophy at the University of Stellenbosch, but his first venture was opening an art gallery outside Johannesburg. He was a journalist for several years before he joined the South African Broadcasting Corporation in 1983, and started working as an independent producer/director with writer/director Jan Groenewald in 1990.

Jan has carved a career for himself in the arts - as actor, writer and playwright, for the stage, radio, film and television. He has been directing and producing TV programmes as an independent producer in partnership with Pieter de Vos since 1990.
